A group of Danish institutional investors led by the bank Nykredit visited Chromocell on Friday April 27th as part of a tour to learn about the health and robustness of the U.S. economic recovery.
The Danish Government is making a concerted effort to identify and engage non-Danish companies to work with local private sector and academic entities to better leverage the country's funding resources.
The group's visit to Chromocell was arranged by BioNJ; an organization that advances biotechnology and related industries in New Jersey.
The Danish delegation also visited Brazil for a hands-on mine tour and natural resources briefing, New York City with the federal reserve, BNY Mellon and academia at Columbia and Princeton where they had an economics briefing.
Denmark has a long tradition of biotech excellence that it wants to showcase globally through these types of outreach initiatives and potential partnering opportunities.
