Chromocell’s Christian Kopfli is EY 2016 New Jersey’s Biopharma Entrepreneur of the Year
North Brunswick, N.J., June xx, 2016 – Chromocell Corporation, a life sciences company focused on the discovery of novel compounds for therapeutics and nutrition, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Christian Kopfli, was awarded the Ernst & Young (EY) 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award, New Jersey in the Bio Pharmaceuticals category.
Christian co-founded Chromocell in 2002, serving initially as General Counsel before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2005. During this time, Chromocell has developed a novel non-opioid pain therapeutic that is about to enter clinical trials. The company has also become a leading provider of natural ingredients for salt and sugar reduction. With this win, Christian is now eligible for the Entrepreneur of the Year National program award, the winners of which will be announced on November 19th at National Awards gala in Palm Springs, CA.
